You're right, the line-based shading really does give it a comic book vibe. It's much easier for an untrained eye to see now that color has been added.

Great picture. But I think I like the other more soft style of shading more. Makes it seem less like a comic and more realistic. If you care for that input, ofc. Feel free to ignore me :)
