Go back and read it again. He wasn't real mature at the Stable either! Hiding at the bar and slamming 5 long islands at the first sign of stallions... Panicing and running away from a flirty conversation with the stripper he *hired*... But you are not wrong. The backwards cap screams 'arrested develoment' and makes him look what? 18 or 19. While the rest of the details -- live in girlfriend, no roommates, matching washer & dryer, cute couple pictures on the wall... suggest out of college and late 20s at least. (unless he's a trust fund baby) We just met Mikey in the last one, so a lot of the dialog was estabilishing the basics of the story (and of course, moving the porn plot along.... gotta pay them bills :-) Now we are learning that he's been bluffing his way through adulthood and is getting ready to have the world's youngest mid-life crisis! It's a good thing he's pretty.
