We're shooting the next round of Pachter Factor that will nearly close out 2023 and we need your questions!

The deal for Microsoft to buy Activision/Blizzard is final and its games will hit Game Pass in 2024, PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan is retiring as Pachter predicted, Cyberpunk 2077 just completed one of the greatest comebacks in video game history, Starfield sold tons of units despite being on Game Pass, we're getting rumblings about the succcessor to Switch, Sony just announced the PlayStation 5 Slim, layoffs are hitting the games industry hard, PlayStation 5 cloud streaming was just announced, The Last of Us Part II is already being remastered, Unity almost destroyed its business with a boneheaded mistake, video game voice actors could go on strike, a simplified Assassin's Creed just sold very well, Disney may jump back into video games...again, GameStop is on its last leg, Bobby Kotick is leaving Activision/Blizzard, Thanksgiving is coming soon, and so much more!

As usual, try to ask some questions that will be interesting both now and a few weeks from now. If you want a more thorough refresher of all the big stories from the last month use this link:

Thanks as always to everyone who asks questions! The show is only as good as your input.

Steam always seems to get crazy video game deals. When physical games are gone, do you think digital games sales events on the marketplace of the big 3 (PSN, Xbox Store, Nintendo eShop) will ever be as good as they are on Steam? If not, what’s the difference in marketplaces that makes it so the PC market can see better deals?

Hey Pach! Can you help me understand modern retail. This photo is from the Target across the street from PlayStation in San Mateo. What is the point of all these empty shelves? It is kinda... Sad. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Q148wefgoHhUww5X9
