Last comment ;p : I used to be a Nintendo fanboy in N64-gamecube era. I just don't see that Nintendo has a much different first party lineup than let say even the Wii. Switch is the first Nintendo console I feel I dont need to buy: 2 zelda, 1 3d mario, 1 pikmin, barelly 1 mario cart and smash bro, maybe a bit more fillers and splatoon as the new IP. I dont see what is meaningful and I played a couple of them on WiiU. I think the switch is not different in terms of gaming than any Old Nintendo platform. Basically 1 good game per year, sometimes 2. This is because 1, mobile console games are much less ressources intensive and 2 the cost and length of normal games went up quickly. So Nintendo could not really free ressources toward newer projects. Basically if you are not up to play the same games you already played under a different form for 20 years there is nothing for you.... The portable gimmick save them more than games a bit like the control gimmick for the Wii... But compared to Wii the portable gimmick induce to buy more games...
