Hello,

This poll does NOT affect the upcoming Tifa x Aerith animation.

I was wondering about something. A lot of times recently, I have been struggling to find alternate angles for the positions. There's only so many ways you can look at something sometimes, you know? It's hard to figure out how to make Angle 2 fresh in certain situations, especially if walls are tight.

I was thinking, it's really the same amount of time to render if I just make an animation that is twice as long. And that gives everyone more content, a longer scene to enjoy, and a better value for me to get people to subscribe to Patreon (to get the 2nd half, for $6 patrons).

It also reduces workload because I can just make sure the animation looks good at one specific angle and not worry about it looking good at every imaginable angle.

Biggest drawback for me to doing this are increased cost in sound/voice acting.


What do you think? Even if the answer is yes, it doesn't mean I will change the business model any time immediately. I really have to evaluate sound design costs because it can be hundreds of $$$ more.

I may also start with 5 minutes, not 6 minutes, if we ever do this.

Well, Hollywood only makes one angle look good... I don't know how your sound works. Is it mainly the voices that are expensive? Are there cheaper sound effects you could use to build up your Azure Limina Wall of Sound? Maybe you could be your own Foley Artist - get a microphone, splash around in the sink, knock your headboard against the wall, drop your shoes on the floor, etc. Might be fun. Frying bacon sounds like rain. Dunk someone under water and they're quiet for a few seconds - that's money in the bank if you're making your own splashy noises. (I have no idea what I'm talking about.)
