July 2022 - Partial WIP tomorrow (the 21st) (Patreon)

(For reference: WIP means "Work in Progress")

Hello my lovelies,

This month will again be just a partial WIP of the animation. I have been a bit exhausted, and my hands hurt, and I have an important family function this weekend which has been stressing me out.

As far as the Patreon goes, to tell the truth, I really only plan my life around the final animations releasing on the date I promise (the last day of month/first day of month).

When it comes to storyboards and WIP's, I just don't really have the motivation to schedule my life around getting them out on time (the 10th and 20th). The tweets for my storyboards and WIP's barely get any attention, and I think social media really just likes seeing full-sound final product animation, and doesn't really care about much else.

But obviously if my Patreon says I will put them out for you at those dates, I would have to deliver on that. So I think to reduce stress, when August comes around, I'm going to switch the model so there will be no promised WIP animation.

I will still do storyboards on the 10th, and if I feel inclined, I can share snippets of what I'm doing in Blender. The storyboards are still necessary early so I can book the voice actresses, so that won't really change.

But taking away the 20th WIP kind of makes more sense; the milestone isn't meaningful for my work, it's just kind of this weird state of the animation where it's not finished, clearly not polished, and I'm deliberately showing it to Patrons in a state where I'm not yet proud of it, which isn't a very exciting stage.

I'd rather put out the storyboards, but then have the animation itself be a surprise, with the full sound, when it comes out at the turn of the month.
