So first off, I usually lean into having a human(oid) female and a monster male pairing.

I tend to go for the creatures with still recognizable humanoid builds and faces - but make them like 9 feet tall. Size difference makes my knees weak hehe, ESPECIALLY in combination with the monster being very caring and gentle, even shy.. GAH so cute and hot!! ^^ Horns and thick tails are peak design choices in my book.

Veiny, juicy monstercock - yes please!

I love a smirking character/creature, but totally faceless monsters could be appealing as well.

Of course tentacles are an all time favourite of mine, though I don't think I've ever designed a whole tentacle creature before. Would be a fun challenge sometime soon.

My monster nono's: unhealthy looking skin (scabs, open wounds, puss, leisions and the like) and green or yellow skin. Just doesn't really tickle my fancy. And I think I can do without slimey skin. Unpleasant body odor. That's about it, I'm not picky with monster boyfriends <3

Tentacles def a top choice. Female human, monster male is the classic choice. But female monsters can be hot. A hot mermaid (proper mermaid, no disney here) or medusa can be good.

I have mixed feelings about tentacles; I can enjoy them a lot in terms of physical dynamics, but they're so rarely used for stuff with an emotional connection between the characters. Size differences have kind of grown on me with time, but kind of as an offshoot of being into protector/caretaker dynamics. If there's one thing that appeals to me that I'm not sure I've ever actually seen before,it's a woman with an Eastern-style dragon, with a long body which can coil and wind around her, and he can kind of rub up against her while walking, like a cat rubbing up against a person's leg, but big enough that he'd nearly push her over.
