There is a known issue which I think is a bug in Unity where the games takes 4 GB of RAM. So until that's fixed you're going to need at least 4 GB of free system RAM.

I am porting the project to the latest version of Unity that allows me to fix this, but there is more work required to get the memory reduced.

So the min spec is roughly:

8-16GB RAM
DX11 video card
5-7 year old CPU

Please send me feedback and bug reports. Please do not share because this is just a tech demo, not a game. I want to make the game engine and technology first before designing and making the game. This tech demo presents the new rendering techniques I am using so that I can get the best quality in Unity while looking similar to my comics and what I can output in a picture.

Enjoy!

Did you extract the .zip file and double-click Darklord Universe.exe? You don't see any logo or text appear?

Stop, I understand everything correctly, I need Directx 11, and I can not install it on my Windows 7, so I need to reinstall Windows to example 10?

darklordcomics

The next version should be a lot easier to run, less memory required, and run on the older DirectX 9. So you might want to wait until the next version. Or you should be able to install DirectX 11 for Windows 7 from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17431

Looks good so far. Not sure if it's just not there, but didn't have anything come up when trying the Exclusive Interview characters in collections. Suggestions: Support for ultrawide resolutions. In collections, don't have the camera follow your cursor, maybe move the camera around using right-mouse. Its a little disorienting having it follow your cursor around everywhere when you're trying to click menu items. So far, looks pretty good. Didn't have any issues.

Thanks for the feedback! I will look into UW resolutions and adding more camera options. I was thinking of having an option to disable the movement altogether but I like your right-mouse idea.

Elise's hairs clip into her chest during her idle animation, but that might be too troublesome to fix. And one more question, is the game going to be a point and click adventure game or something much more linear like HoneySelect? Keep up the good work DL.

Thanks, that hair problem should be fixable. The game design right now is hard to compare with other games, but more like a point and click adventure. It won't be very linear, there will be multiple story lines centered on each girl individually that is intended to be replayed as you "level up" in order to get more items/information/etc. You don't play as a single person, more like an organization like The Order. You build up and level your organization, collect items, and participate in some adventures of interesting characters from my comics.
