Lord Mortimer Bund is one of the most powerful lords of Therildan and High Advisor to Queen Liliannah and the royal family. He was High Advisor for her father as well, King Rensgar, and he eagerly accepts all the credit he can for guiding him to his very successful reign before the King's demise in the battle for Nordgaard.

Lord Mortimer is not the greatest tactician, relying more heavily on others when it comes to battle plans, but he makes up for that with shrewd negotiating skills and a penchant for less savory politics. He has always been known to be fiercely loyal to Therildan, but truthfully he always looks out for his own interests above all else. There are rumors he is not content as High Advisor to the new Queen, whom he thinks of as a spoiled child. The main reason he remains at his position is to gain leverage for his own benefit.
