New Comic: Chronicles of Veldaria (Patreon)

Formerly code named "Fantasia", I would like to present the next Darklord comic series: Chronicles of Veldaria!  A new fantasy based comic with all sorts of new adventure, misdeeds, heroes, and villains.

Veldaria is the land which encompasses many realms and the first story you will see is that of our Fallen Queen.  The Fallen Queen rules the kingdom of Therildan which is situated in the middle of Veldaria and has been growing and expanding its borders for many years.  A large part of that expansion came thanks to the Fallen Queen's father, the great King Rensgar.  Unfortunately for the kingdom, the King died in the battle for Nordgaard, the realm in the north.

That is where the story begins, as the Fallen Queen becomes the ruler of Therildan, aided by her husband, as they try to continue the great success her father led.  More on the Fallen Queen in a future update.

The geography of Veldaria consists of five major realms.  Therildan, the most powerful realm, in the center.  To the north is Nordgaard, mostly a frozen wasteland, but home to the Nords and a thriving fishing economy.  To the west is Esharia, a mostly wooded realm of elves whom keep to themselves.  To the east is the Bleak Mountains populated by dwarves and beaten down from generations of war with Therildan, much of their land was conquered and now must live in the mountains and focus on mining.  Finally, to the south is the Dark Lands.  King Rensgar's last conquest was to beat back the black devils living in those forsaken sandy lands and even enslaved much of their population for they make superior laborers.

What will the Queen do to improve her kingdom?  How does she become the "Fallen" Queen?  What's up with those dwarves losing wars all the time?  Why are the elves so snobbish?  Stay tuned for more information every Friday!
