Not too far from the coast sits one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean, the Island of Milk. For nearly a hundred years, people have settled on this almost mythical land, squeezing and pumping milk from the giantess' ample mountains. She lives her life at a different scale to us mortals. Like a wonderful living statue, the residents hardly see her move. One may live an entire lifetime on the island and only see her chest swell in inhalation once.

But there are tiny micro-movements, so rather than having their homes sitting atop her skin, they are secured with strong ropes which snuggly wrap around her awesome body. Some of that rope is crafted from trimming and weaving her hair.

Besides fishing and the obvious dairy industry, one that is said to make the most delicious cheeses and creams in the region, there is also the sightseeing business that sees an ample swelling of tourists every summer.

They flock to see the windmills and their instruments pressing the areola on her left side, and marvel at the stream of warm milk arch overhead and land in the milk wheel that is strapped to her thigh. This is then funneled down to the dairy on her inner thigh.

They say that the best view of the island comes from the top of the lighthouse, or the observatory that rests gently on her head.

Despite being in a tranquil bay, there are always pirates who would like nothing more than to make the peaceful giantess a hub of their nefarious doings, so a garrison watches over the sea from atop her right knee.  Below them, dairy merchants sail their ships under the her knee, smelling the sweet scent of the giantess wafting to greet them.

It's a peaceful life on The Island of Milk, so think about visiting sometime whenever you get thirsty enough!

Congratulations, Kim! This was so much fun to do, and I really enjoyed researching and dreaming about what this would all look like!

"A land of milk and honey, where a bum can stay for many a day, and he won't need any money." I get it! Burl Ives turned it into "The Big Rock Candy Mountain" decades ago as the kid-friendly version, but now I know the truth thanks to you, Udders! Sweet work!

Wow, this is just what I thought about the goddess! Thanks for thid perfect artwork, Uddders! The giant goddess must live in much slower time than those little lilliputians. I HOPE to work with her pink pearl near the harbor, which adds flavor to the goddess milk and attracts fish to the harbor! XD

Haha! It's all true! America wasn't ready to hear all about "Big Milker Mountain" just yet.

I'm so happy you loved it! I had so much fun letting my imagination roam all over her giant slopes! Thanks so much for suggesting this great idea!

Nearly a hundred years, huh? Can you imagine the leg cramps?😯
