When a playboy industrialist is found dead in cheap hotel with a ping pong ball wedged in his throat, scruffy private investigator, Dredgen Zett, is hired by the dead man's uncle to look into the suspected murder. The only evidence, the ball, points to an adults only performer by the name of Goodmounds, who's famous for sending ping pong balls, just like that one, across the room without using her hands or paddles. Is she the killer? Or is she being framed? To find out Dredgen will find himself mixed up in the seedy world of underground cabarets and the seedier world of high finance. Will he get out alive, or fall prey to the Deadly Double E's!
