Personal (Patreon)

Very few of you may know what's been going on in my personal life, so I figured I would take a moment to share. As much as I wish that ISE was my full-time job, it's not, even though I spend about 40 hours a week on it. With that being said, I did work a 9-5 job, and I've been at that position for four years. Today is my last day at my place of employment as they have filed for bankruptcy and will be shutting the doors at 3PM today. While I knew that my time at this job was going to come to an end about two weeks ago if another company didn't  buy us/invest in us, I didn't expect to lose my job as fast as today. There was also some hope that a company would help us stay afloat. My last paycheck will be this week, and my medical insurance ends at the end of this month. Unfortunately, I have nothing lined up to support myself in the coming weeks.

You might have heard a new ad on the podcast after the credits rolled. The ad merely stated that if half the listeners of ISE donated just $1, I could make podcasting my full-time job. This is very true based on the amount of listeners who listen to ISE, but only about 6% of listeners support via Patreon today. I'm not telling you this because I want to extort you for more money, but I believe if I got another job at this point, I would not have as much time for ISE as my current job allowed. If you would like to up your pledge to support me and my passion, I would forever be in your debt, especially in the time that I need it most, but I cannot stress enough that you should support yourselves and your families before me or any other content creator.
