Broken CC Dining Chairs & Stools (Patreon)

You may or may not be aware that the last patch broke the routing of your sims to be able to uses stools or dining chairs when they are snapped to a surface like a table or island. I've been in contact with EA as the changes that were made in the last patch didnt seem to make any logical sense. So I wanted to double check that the changes made where intentional. I have been informed that the changes made to these items in the last patch were NOT intentional, therefore I have decided not to update my cc as there should be a future patch that reverts the chairs and stools back to their previous state.

If you can't live without your cc dining chairs and stools there is a batch fix available from Sims 4 Studio (I have an old video that shows how to use the Sims 4 Studio batch fix feature here).

NOTE: If you batch fix your items, they will disappear from any build you currently have that uses those items. This is because the batch fix changes the number that the game uses to identify objects. So it will treat it like a brand new object. This is one of the reasons why I will not be officially updating mine as it would cause these items to disappear from older builds. I know from previous experience, the fewer versions of my cc I release the better, as it only creates more confusion.

If and when I hear anymore information about when this issue will be rectified by EA, I will let you all know
