This is why DQ:N makes sense. People often talk about excessive magic use causing paralysis and unconsciousness, but nobody talks about the fact magic is a muscle like everything else. What happens when you stretch a muscle to much, something's bound to break loose.

A little late here but most magic is portrayed as a type of life energy. So the more a person burns out on it the more atrophy they would feel over their entire body and they may lose years off their life. I don't wanna bum u out on some facts but even if magic used muscles or stretched it too much u would just get a strain or u can tear a muscle ligament. I guess the most logical/realistic way someone might have a bm or pee from using magic is if they ate something that helped improved their power and after said person burns that power some after affect may increase the speed of thier digestive system. Or a certain spell might do the same thing as an after effect if not done properly. Basically anything that disrupts that flow. Edit: Upon further reading I guess it might be possible if the sphincter or bladder muscles are weakened but its hard to believe these muscles would be used in casting magic....
