In October of 2016, @callmepo  had done a piece for his “Inktober” set that had immediately caught my  eye.  The piece was something that he called “Stardust Girl”.  And so,  it was another idea that I had saved for my future commissions with him  and when the list opened, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

Here’s the original sketch:  Inktober 2016 Day 22 - Stardust Girl

Upon  asking him to take this commission, he did say that it was an  opportunity to do some redesigns of her.  Which is understandable since  in the original you can see that he drew her to about the knees and no  more.  Once he was done, I had my work cut out for me.  So I went to  work applying the skin tones and such.  But then after I had finished  shading the skin it occurred to me, “Why should I limit myself to one  skin tone?”  Upon reasoning further it occurred to me that this  character is completely new, there’s no real color pallet for her.  Even  though I had asked CallMePo what color pallet he had in mind for her  was basically a little orange and pink.  But with all that, I tried to  do my own kind of color pallet.  And my “starter girl” would have a pink  color scheme and the others would have different colors for their “Space  gear” and skin tones.  So, keep your eyes open, folks.

My thanks to CallMePo and the wonderful work that he did with this.

Note:  All character(s) depicted here are 18 years of age or older.
