Hey hey Patrons!

We're back with ANOTHER CREEPY LIL' BANGER and a TON OF BACKSTORY AND INFO!!!

One of the most reality-shattering episodes since we first met 'Father'!

Starting out as a slave, named by a weird lil' spirit in a glass flask, and then imbued with everyone he's ever known's screaming soul; we can maybe understand Honehiem's less-than-sunny disposition in previous episodes!

What transpires within "The Dwarf in the Flask"  is one of the most insane episodes of this show, and there's a meaty and wild post-episode discussion that happens after!

AND HOLY HELL WE WERE SO AFRAID FOR IZUMI!

Also, don't be alarmed, "I'm just knocking around your wife's guts!"

Buncha new stuff on the way!

My personal fav ep of the show, that lil guy is so devious Also, I'm sure this is a comment you'll get 200 times in the YouTube comments for this, but a cool detail that just becomes apparent in this episode is that Al, Ed, and Hohenheim are the only ones with golden eyes because that was unique to the citizens of Xerxes and the gene was literally wiped out in a single moment, so it only lives on within them. Everyone else in the show has blue, brown, or red eyes.

Fun fact for this episode, Young Hohenheim is voiced by the same actor who voiced Al in the original 2003 FMA series. He couldn't reprise his role in Brotherhood due to puberty deepening his voice, but it's neat that they still got him back for this.

Great episode and great reaction! I just knew you guys were gonna have a field day with "rearranging her guts" lol Also, the similarities with with the Dwarf and Pride are intentional. They'll explain why later.

Amazing Episode! I really like the little aside of him saying "I know a bit about medicine". We've already heard the stories about the two sages with very suspicious silhouettes, it was mentioned when Ed and gang first met the group from Xing. In Xing there is a story about a sage of the west (going west to east) who came to Xing and basically taught them all their knowledge about Alchemy, whereas Ed mentions that in Amestris there is the story of a sage of the east (going east to west) that went to Amestris and taught them all they know about Alchemy as well. It's cool that this was used to contrast in how Hohenheim and Father view Alchemy (a tool to help and heal vs a tool of war an conquest) in what they taught in the regions they first went to after the downfall of Xerxes. I feel like little asides like that really tie a story together, things that were mentioned to the audience like 25 episodes ago come back and make more sense now!

You guys just will have to get used to post-credit scenes if you watch much anime. The Japanese just seem to love them for some reason :-)

idk where you guys are getting the episodes from, whenever you guys talk about subtitles they sound intentially written to be as absurd as possible lol
