Hey hey Patrons!

We're back with the TRAGIC and SORTA abrupt af finale of CyberPunk: EdgeRunners guys! 

We got fights, we got a big boss from the video game and we got..... REBECCA BITING IT!??! 

This pisses us off so much, its hard to put into words. 

David ends up basically just being defeated and the bad guys winning and all that, cause we know elements of this need to keep going due to the game, but it sorta leaves us cold. 

At least Lucy and Capt. Mustache makes it out alive! We have a good time, even though it doesn't quite end up floatin' our boat! 

RIP Becca.

I watched Becca and Himeno from CSM die within 2 days of each other. I was broken that whole week.

The game is pretty much the same, just utter nihilism and hopelessness with very little else. It's not even portrayed as a cautionary tale really, just an inevitability of human nature. Kind of a bummer. David would've probably ended up dead in an alleyway in some unceremonious fashion had none of this ever happened to him, and the world would've forgotten him all the same. The city and corporations continue on like some unstoppable machine of death and no one cares. I'd like to hope that there's something else to be said here, but I can't really think of it. Just "enjoy what you have", maybe.
