Fffffuuuuck that entire conversation with Miles, Jesus. I am convinced that this is just horrible, horrible mistranslation, bc 1) it doesn't fit with anything that Miles does or says from thereafter, or what has already been shown of the Massacres, and 2) that is NOT how you write a diasporic character of color.
