Hey hey Patrons!

We're back with another ep of Legend of the Vox Machina and we are getting surprisingly dark and invested in the No-Mercy Percy storyline!

Ghost gun with revenge names? So here and so badass.

A stout Scottish Rebel leader? We got it.

Rory McCann but he's big and blue and mutton-chopped all over? And then some!

Loving this show and we got tons more, Cyberpunk, and DeathNote before the weekend is through!

Lijnaito2021 !

Hey Sean what happened to this week's FMA brotherhood?

Just a minor FYI, the show’s title is “The Legend of Vox Machina”, not “Legend of the Vox Machina”

We hit the pause button this week so we could get caught up on getting our uncuts ready and the YT drops back on track! Will drop by first thing Monday so we're caught up!

To answer a couple questions: Vex and Vax are close but not that close lol. The show will answer questions I won't go into detail for fear of spoilers. You caught Rory but you missed a Hobbit!!! Archie is Dom Monagham, Merry from Lord of the Rings.

SeanTankTop

well, to be fair, Archie sounds literally nothing like Dom as we typically know him but Rory sounds like the Hound all day.

KomoUpNorth

Oh yeah Dom's voice has gotten way lower since LoTR, his co-star Billy Boyd (pippin) shows up in season 2.

Btw. in regards to the "burning you off my balls" line: That one only makes sense if you put it together with the previous line of Archie "being a tenacious tick" - burning a tick that has bitten down on someone skin is an old home remedy for getting rid of ticks, so Stonefell is basically saying that Archie is as annoying as having a tick on your balls and that he's therefore excited to get rid of him in the "appropriate" manner

To answer one question on why they don't just kill everyone, Whitestone has an important part to play in Tal'Dorei trade and, by extension, the continent's economy. The Briarwoods are posing as a legitimate ruling family and wouldn't be able to survive the entire continent launching war against them. They need to keep up some semblance of appearance to avoid investigations that would lead to that. Obviously, that could change if a rebellion becomes a big enough threat in the short term. There are also larger plans at play that have been hinted at that likely required a certain number of citizens to remain alive for a long period of time.
