You guys are the only people I have ever seen be this confused about this episode XD. Most people are speculating about the mystery but you guys acted like there was something you guys didn't understand, enough to look up a plot synopsis! Not trying to be mean I just have never seen this reaction to this episode before.

I honestly prefer that people double-check stuff they're unsure on! In this case it really is just the episode being mysterious on purpose but I've seen reactors carry a misunderstanding for seasons at a time lol which can be frustrating if understandable. But yeah, in this case the Watchers got everything they should have from this episode!

Lol it's a shame that the subtitles don't match the dub because that can be distracting, but on the other hand I always find it interesting to see the differences we get for localization (which I think is usually closer to the dialogue's intended meaning than simple subs can be). The sub's line about "a good shot, for a woman" for example lol edit, finished the discussion: yep Sean's right on the money about Japan just being a bit more problematic with things in general so dubs sometimes iron out some of that stuff so it isn't distracting in the wrong ways
