Also, we get one of the most existentially lyrical episodes yet with Ed and Al's flashback to their Island Training and to some more info about their dickhead Papa who went out for a pack of suitcases and NEVER CAME BACK!

This episode really does make the previous one a bit better retroactively. Not only do we get a parallel to the previous baby story, but also a kind of follow-up to Winry and Al's conversation. Last episode, she cried for them and was saying that it's not right that they never cry for themselves. This time, we meet Izumi Curtis, who is perhaps the only person qualified to help them do just that. As a side note, it's interesting that when Izumi saw The Truth, the being appeared tall and feminine, while Ed saw a shorter, masculine version Also, I was in stitches during the discussion of Izumi's blood puking and mommy milkers XD Sig and Izumi really are #couplegoals and glad y'all got a kick out of them! Honestly if I were to make a list of my favorite anime characters, a disproportionate amount would come from this show lol Also also, this joke got me good: "Re: Hughes dead as dogshit"
