Hey Hey Patrons!

We got some ANNNNDOOOOOAAH back this week and good lawd this show keeps amping up everything!

It's all about the grinding down on everyone in this story by the Empire (settle down Syril).

Bix gets tortured with the death rattles of alien children and the creepiest thing is Dedra and her unsettlingly glib Dr fren.

Cassian and the boys figure out what happened on Level 2 and try to save our boy Olaf in a heartbreaking scene that recalls Shawshank Redemption!

Dedra gets stalked by Cerel Syril and it is a weird, horny bunch of Fascist Angst Boners and HOLY FUCK is this a queasy and fascinating scene.

And holy Sith shit has a simple like "Never more than 12." EVER been more fucking HYPE?!

Later today we got the AOT Movie Dropping and we kinda lose our minds with that one! Plus our final House of the Dragon ReWatchers arrives and we got a lot to say!

I love the commitment with Syril. A lesser show would take a cowardly or lazy approach and try some cheesy hero turn or redemption; here, he is laid bare as an psychopath, a simp for fascism, and a stalker of a woman he’s fetishized. Theres nothing to pity here, nothing to fix; if you ever felt sympathy for him, you should regret it Recall US agent/John Walker on Falcon and Winter Soldier - five episodes showing his descent into madness, exposing the cracks that lead him to the super soldier serum and a public execution. Then, completely out of nowhere, he’s crackin jokes with the heroes and saving bacon (and then turning evil again, sheesh) No, here, the bad guy is worse than you thought, and we root for Cinta or a Bix to cap his ass

On paper, the whole "we took the death screams of children that we genocided, which were so horrible they drove anyone who heard them mad, and turned them into a torture device" thing should probably be so over-the-top that it just becomes unintentionally comical, but somehow this show (this freaking *Star Wars* tv show) sells it, IMO.

Better than any Star Wars media Andor answers the question: Why rebel? And it doesnt need any Sith Lords or superweapons to do it

it's the weird, semi-friendly courteous delievery from the Gorn actor, so insane!
