Hey hey from VacationLand Patrons! 

Sorry for the hold-up on this one yall! We shot it remotely, had a few hiccups but we're back in action! 

We're digging this foray into animation from the MCU and of course, we're throwing a bunch of perverted stuff into the subtext almost right off the bat! 

Will we got more GIIIIIIIIANT WOMAN stuff this side of R. Crumb in this episode, we're a 'lil taken aback by the amount of onscreen murder, and then of course the TENTACLES SHOW UP and it is DOING SOMETHING FOR SOMEBODY!

Iron Giant Steve and putting the peg in Captain America, so far its a good show.

My oldest son and I mused mid-episode about whether Steve was going to end up getting the winter soldier treatment, which would have been interesting long term, but not feasible for the length of this stand alone single episode

also, really loved this episode - the comic book style animation looked great , and i appreciated the creative and fresh fight / action set piece choreography where many other films and shows have just gone through the motions. The only thing I'd personally have done different is be a bit less on-the-nose on the way in which the close-minded sexism was delivered - I feel like it's a given you could have the colonel be quietly dismissive of Peggy and the audience would still get that he's a shit who needs a recalibration in thinking. or the big Nazi heavy who calls her 'fragile' - hey dude read the room she just wrecked your entire motorcade brigade :) either way, go Captain Carter!
