Also SORRY for the hold-up, Sean had to basically rebuild his editing set up from scratch since the 3rd of this month so it's backed up a ton of stuff! Thanks for understanding!

There are also a series of behind the scene "shorts" from nickelodeon that have more about the Martial Arts and more from the voice actors! I think they were put in as special features for the DVD releases I'm pretty sure.

Yes haha i was just gonna comment this, I would love to see their reactions to them. I found a couple links of the voice actors BTS but there's also the other clips from the DVD extras on YouTube. Voice Actor BTS Links: https://youtu.be/GmbkdR80-F0 & https://youtu.be/P5i4faZ8h_8 P.S.: All the voice actors were the same in the pilot accept for Aang (Mitchell Musso voices Aang in the pilot, he ended up getting popular tho from being in Hannah Montana). Another side note: the new ATLA podcast is actually pretty cool, and the other host along with Dante is the actress who voices Korra (Janet something lol i forget her last name). However there might be some Korra spoilers. Anyways loved the reaction, have a great day!

FYI the composers on Avatar The Last Airbender are the same ones who worked on Korra, Jeremy Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn. They amicably split up The Track Team(the partnership they'd worked under together) in 2017, having worked under it since 2004. Neither of them have been specifically attached to Avatar Studios yet, but that's likely due to the projects its making not being far enough along into production yet.

It's probably been said, the voice actor for Azula; Grey DeLisle searched deep to portray the final moments of Azula's mental breakdown. Apparently it was a dark memory, it was realistic because it was method acting, from what I've heard. EDIT: There's also some Chibi shorts from ATLA.

Kyle McElwain

Don’t be afraid to listen to the Avatar podcast, they are keeping it spoiler free, or as much as possible, and aren’t discussing korra until they get there.

Michelle

i love that dustin always has to mention fish police whenever animated series are mentioned and sean always has to reference pirates of the caribbean or xmen movie quotes lol. could make a drinking game out of that.

Isis Peoples

I've never seen that documentary. All the ATLA content I've consumed over the past 15 years and somehow I missed this. However I think I've seen clips of it. There'd be a 3 min section here and there that I've seen out of context. ANYWAYS! Thanks for the extra content. It was so much fun. I have seen the pilot and it's still just as weird to watch 🤪 you can see the backbones of what became the final product

SeanTankTop

Okay cool! Definitely want to check that out! Gotta be the be all end all of insider info to the show!

Regarding Sokka in the pilot, he was actually never intended to be the comic relief character we now know and love. Even in the first handful of aired episodes, you’ll notice Sokka is more serious than he is later in the series. It wasn’t until the creators started to recognize actor Jack DeSena’s natural talent for comedy that they decided to write more comedy for his character.

Mathies

according to the credits, Katara's (Kya's), Zuko's and Sokka's voiceactors where all the same ones as in the show. Aang is the only different one.

Danae Younge

If you look up atla voice acting on youtube theres a video of all the voice actors being interviewed and doing scenes in the booth

LK

I love how there is legit Sokka X Zuko fan art in the documentary

Kiki Meowzilla

The official Avatar YT channel is great, they do live streams, in-depth look into the lore and they even did a summary of the comics with actual images all leading to Korra. They really do have some great content.

Crystalrose

There is a behind the scenes of the voice actors!! I'm not sure if its on youtube but (im a nerd) its in the atla complete dvd set. They have a lot of clips there and its really fun to watch. (if i find it somewhere online ill let yall know)

Tyler Mckenzie

Katara, Sokka and Zuko’s voice actors were all there. The only different one was Aang

Steven Welti

Thanks for sharing the pilot! Never seen that before either. Did you notice at the end of the pilot they had “Kya” voice over to summarize while they were flying on Appa before the episode ended? I wonder if Shamalama ding dong saw this pilot before he made the movie which is why he made such a shit movie.

By the way, thank you so much for everything you guys have done. I’ve been with you since last June when you started and I’m so glad I randomly found you guys on a whim. It was the GOT reactions in the bar that made me recognize you but I am so happy I found you all and honestly wish I commented more throughout this whole experience. I’ll try and keep up with you guys while you release the LOK episodes. Much love to you all.

lol I know this is suuuuuuuuper late but I joined the ol 'reon for the final stretch of korra and I gotta show love for reacting to Avatar Spirits! IMO it's a must watch for fans of the show and I'm surprised more reactors haven't done it! So many great tidbits that just make the show shine even brighter
