I've seen the move unfortunately. Lol. it was the first piece of ATLA media I ever saw. , But, little stuff like that doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I think it's clear that we care about the show, and are not writing or directing a movie of it.

Oh man this episode, I love it and hate it (its absolutley one of the best but you yknow, my baby appa gets hurt so much here) and i already feel bad for Morgan cause i know she loves appa too. This aint a great time for any appa lover. Also i dont care about pronounciation. Actually i think its endearing tbh, i like the way yalls accent sound. Im not american so what is this called, a chicago accent?

I think Azula's team fought the Kyoshi warriors after the dildo battle at Ba Sing Se. Aang saw the drill right after Suki left, and the fight didn't last more than a day. When the Kyoshi warriors found Appa, they said it had been a few days since Suki saw Aang, and I imagine it took at least a day or two (if not longer) to fix Appa up before Azula arrived. This episode is so depressing, I'm glad I missed it when it first aired. Being able to watch the next episode makes this one a little less painful at least.

It's said (somewhere) that Aang gave him the name Appa because he gave him an apple, and chose a variation of the word as a name.

Love the directors cut/outtakes version of the reacts. I'm laid off and waiting for my job to be possible again and one of the things that helps break up the monotony is these videos. Thanks for everything!

I don't notice when u pronounce the names differently so its dumb that ya'll are still getting shit for it, the avatar fandom needs to chill the fuck out also that porcupine Pig is a boar-q-pine its mentioned by name a few times throughout the series and a different lookin' one is shown again in Season 3 pretty sure....might just be a normal porcupine tho who knows

I don’t think it’s crazy for the Avatar fandom to have a reaction to the pronunciations. This was a HUGE issue with the movie so it’s not that we are crazy fans it’s more of an involuntary action for me to correct people when they say the characters names wrong. Now that is not saying people should flood the comments with hatred. I rely heavily on people just not knowing so letting them know NICELY is the key. It’s important for people to remember that both sides like the show so stay civil❤️

i mean yea the atla fandom can be tedious with certain things but i feel overall theyre a more progressive bunch that most other mainstream fandoms. most cartoon fandoms really i find to be nicer to hang out with that like, say star wars or GOT and whatnot. Theres too many chuds in big fandoms like that because its not a diverse space enough or the fandoms skew older and male and white and so on, but with cartoons i find people tend to be younger and more diverse and open to things. I myself am latine and trans and ive had a very positive time in cartoon fandoms mostly.

but yea dont mind guys, were not entitled to you to know everything about this series or any series or get whatever trivial thing right. also i dont mean to generalize with that comment about big fandoms tho, i know every fandom has fun people and not so fun people and thats okay. but you know the larger it is, the more you notice the not so fun people. i mostly just watch to have a fun because yalls personalities are just really charming. Just do what you want and have fun really!

the timeline of azula v the kyoshi warriors also bothered me for a while. it definitely has to have happened post drill, but if thats the case then why would they be out hunting the avatar when they know he’s in Ba Sing Se? i’ve settled for assuming they thought they were about to find him because of appa fur

I always thought that Azula noticed the bison wasn’t used during the drill attack and it’s possible someone told her they saw him flying with the ships patrolling. Kind of like how Zhao found Aang really fast in blue spirit episode. They both have the resources to get all kinds of information. Of course I could be completely off. Feel free to point out the holes in it. This interests me as well🤣
