Oh man yall!

The Burly Bois are back!

We were on lockdown and in an undisclosed location, set up a viewing bunker so as to record a few more reactions with Alex, Scott and Sean and HOLY SHITBALLS is this a hell of a film to comeback on!

This series started as a Patreon Exclusive and then through a worldwide catastrophe and the USA promptly shitting in its own mouth policy-wise, we were sorta strapped for content. We had some remote reacts and eventually found our footing with The Last Dance, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Lovecraft Country!

So we started cutting and releasing the backlog of MMM shoots and they were a surprise hit!

One of our first ones was 2012's stunningly brutal Indonesian fists of fury flick known as The Raid and it's sequel "The Raid 2: Berandal" shot to the top of Mount Wannawatchit!

And now, with proper distancing, all of us getting tested and coming back negative, you can watch us writhe in agony at the punishing, but unexpectedly elegant and complex martial arts sequel!

Aesthetically gorgeous, especially the aerial shots, wide angle slowly panning out scenes, relentless violence though, artfully done, and an overall great time, super fun!

It’s a wholly different level of filmmaking that’s for damn sure. So exhausting!

You guys should watch this movie again, one more time, completely by yourselves. Absolutely everything would make sense, and every question would be answered. You guys were confused half the movie, and I guess I was too, because I don't see the subs on your video. When I watched side by side, I was like 'oh, they just completely missed where they explained all of this'. It' really beautifully written, but you guys were really half-watching, which you shouldn't do with subs. I don't prefer the dub version, but you might've paid more attention if you didn't switch it in the beginning.

Hey Sean, you mentioned No Country For Old Men in this review. Would definitely be great to hear you guys talk that one up on a reaction video. Such a great film, not in the same way that The Raid 2 is great (well maybe the same in the way the directors are comfortable letting a moment breathe) but great in a way all its own.

We might do a triple cause I've always personally called three films that came out that year of 2007 as being the Dark America Trilogy, No Country For Old Men, There Will be Blood and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and would love to rock them in succession.
