Hey hey Patrons!

Welp..... you know the deal.

One of the craziest narrative crescendos of this entire story is now about to be followed by one of the craziest crescendos of this entire story!

Not since S4 have we had this wild of a One-Two Punch of insanity!

The Patience of this episode but also it's relentlessness.

The Calm but also it's chaos!

The satisfaction (especially for the Angel of Death) for some of the fates of characters but are conflicted for what they mean for others....

The Sept. Grand Maester Pycell. Tommen's Death Drop. The Tower of Joy sequence that leads to Jon Snow. Lyanna's Speech. Septa's Wine Date with Ser Gregor. The Dornish, Martell, Varys Drag Brunch. Walder Frey's demise. The King in the North Scene. This episode is one of the most relentless episodes of television in the medium's history and Angel LOVES EVERY SECEOND (mostly)!

Rip Margery. You deserved better.

And Ramin's score throughout. Absolutely bonkers.

Enjoy yall!

It's probably the most insane episode of this whole show. I really appreciate Sean breaking down some of the book-lore for Angel so he has an idea of the scope of the thing. One of the things sacrificed to condense the story into a show is those bit of lore but a testament to Dan+Dave, their writing team (for good or ill), and George is that the show still stand up pretty well. It is also why I'm not one of the rabid asshats who gets mad at George because he hasn't finished "Winds of Winter"; it is a monumental effort to bring his story to a close and also in light of the fact that many folks have already seen a version of that ending in the show. Dan and Dave were basically working without a net. Even George vacillates own his own story hence why each entry takes so long for him to bang em' out. I just hope George stays healthy and mentally clear enough to finish it the way he wants and that we all get to see his version realized. Hyped for season 7, it isn't perfect but it has so many hype episodes.

I'm quite confident in saying that "Winds of Winter" is arguably the greatest episode of television I've ever seen. I would have paid money to watch Angel's reaction in person and experience this with ya'll.

Amazing episode. So, what is funny about this episode, is that I look a little bit like Jon snow. Like my friends and even random people would come up to me at like a bar and be like "hey do you watch GOT" and I'm like "yes I know I look like Jon Snow." So, when this episode aired and when I would walk into the bar in my town my friends would yell out "KING OF THE NORTH." And I am the most shy, tries to stay under the radar person ever lol

It was flattering that Rihanna kept winking at me during the video.

I forgot how much they packed into this episode. I forgot Arya killed Frey and Jon Snow revealed his true heritage. I KNEW that it happened but I thought it was a separate episode. My dumb brain remembers this episode as "Cersei blows everyone up and becomes queen and Sam finds a library." Like literally my brain remembers the final scene as Sam finding the library. But NO. THIS EPISODE was much more than I remembered. I remember all of the events in it but I remember it spread over more episodes. I was going insane rewatching it. Like wtf that and that and that happened in this episode???????

Wish I had known this was up last night. Would've watched 9 times over what I did watch. I recommend The Diplomat on NF. Any chance you twats are gonna finish GOT before Biden invokes his superpowers?
