We're back with the PEN-ULTIMATE GODDAMN EPISODE OF OUR JJK Journey and we do not know what we are gonna do about the Geto-Ass Suguru situation!

Also, speaking of situation we got ourselves a problematic one with Mei Mei and Ui Ui, I mean, she's clearly SA-ing this kid.....and this is not just us being gross, this is literally happening in the show! WTF!

And further more, we got a new .... also problematic babe who's responsible for tangentially setting off Geto's spiral from providing just the lightest of aftering philosophical banter and we need to see what this seemingly badass bitch has going for her!

Also, how is Brainiac Geto so damn powerful!??! What the hell is going on?!

Yeeeaaaahhhh the whole Mei Mei/Ui Ui situation is problematic at best. It doesn't add anything to the story and is just a bit...icky. But I'm looking forward to this reaction!

Mei Mei is truly problematic, though I've heard her described as a thematic foil to Nanami and that makes a lot of sense to me. His whole schtick is being the responsible adult, he puts himself in danger rather than students because that's only natural to him. Meanwhile, Mei Mei literally grooms her little brother to be her bait in combat. Nanami wanted to work quietly until he can retire in Malaysia. Mei Mei bailed on the fight with Geto, escaping to...Malaysia. An interesting, albeit disgusting dichotomy lol

Oh for sure. Just like...there are plenty of ways they could show that without having her grooming a 15 year old, you know? The fact that they chose THAT to demonstrate their point is what makes it, and the mangaka, a bit problematic.

Just to clarify, Choso and Yuji **ARE** brothers. Nobody messed with his head or anything. This episode clarified that Yuji is actually his brother and explained how that was possible. It's a little weird, but this episode was trying to tell you outright that they are definitely related.

Yeah the Ui Ui/Mei Mei scene is supposed to be seen as messed up. And it's supposed to serve as a foil to Nanami's character. Take note of where Mei Mei/Ui Ui are, it's Kuala Lumpur, the place that Nanami wanted to retire to. She also ran away from her fight only to protect herself and her money. Nanami in his final moments reflected that he shouldn't have run away from being a sorcerer. Mei Mei is greedy and is only a Jujutsu Sorcerer to extort money. Nanami is introduced saying that he left the corporate world because the greed sickened him, and becoming a Sorcerer gave him a greater purpose in helping others. Mei Mei is grooming and abusing her brother and is more than fine to sacrifice him without hesitation to win a fight. Nanami has many quotes about wanting to protect children. He says to Yuji in season 1 it's up the adults to fix the world's problem and protect the youth.

You're not wrong in your takes. Ui Ui IS A MINOR. AND is also Mei Mei's brother. She uses him and is super creepy. I think the idea of her character is that there can be "good guys" that aren't good guys. She is in it for profit and gain and herself first and foremost. FULL STOP. But she does it for the good guys. And is also an incest pedo LOL. She is an awful horrible person that needs to be locked up but is on the side for the good guys.

With the silver hair, it’s possible they are just Targaryen and she is a pedo just like Daemon when he hooked up with child Rhaenyra. In which case, according to everybody, that obviously means… WE STAN 🤪🙌🔥 🙌🔥 (full on sarcasm in case it isn’t obvious) And also I know there is some debate on whether Rhaenyra is 17 or 18 during that but Daemon is in his 30s and that whole thing is still very pedo coded

The fact that Mei Mei gets to go to Malaysia and Nanami didn't. She's definitely the most morally fucked sorcerer that's still technically on the side of the "good guys"
