Fun fact: When Osha had the saber to his throat, the audio description said his lightsaber was “throbbing” and described his chiseled body when he was skinny dipping earlier. The episode’s so godamn horny.

I don't mind if they blue ball me on story if they give enough juicy character bits. In some of the previous eps it just felt like they were withholding in a very contrived way but this felt more like they had a purpose. I could see next episode going into dueling flashbacks, with Sol telling his story to Mei, and Osha seeing a vision of what happened through teh force or even revealing that the jedi may have manipulated her memories when she left the order. We got set up for Qimir and Osha, Sol and Mei, and a peak behind the curtain on Vernestra who seems increasingly preoccupied with maintaining the Jjedi's standing politically but also in a PR sort of way. If you see the Jedi are flawed and often weak like the rest of us, then they would have a harder time imposing their ways on folks without just being openly sort of jackbooted asshats which is what we sort of see in the Prequels with that one line in AotC "Jedi business, go back to your drinks.". That has the vibe of a secret police rather than friendly monks trying to keep the peace.
