Hey hey Patrons!

We're back with some more Hazbin Hotel and we're on the last leg of this story and things are getting more intersting but some questions still remain!

The Seraphim and Emily seem well meaning but a dark secret that HITS VERY CLOSE TO THE AMERICAN HOME jumps up in this episode!

The cat is out of the bag! Heaven makes up the rules! And we sorta grapple with that, but also it sorta doesn't matter cause were just going to war anyway. We thought there'd be more of a discussion on who chooses the rules and why.

And Vaggie USED TO BE AN ANGEL!

Y'all kinda talked over the answer to the question you keep asking. They don't make up the rules, they literally don't know. People just show up on the list or they don't. They are as in the dark as Charlie. Also the rhyme was "mighty" and "might be."

This is such a dumb request but can you make the "like" heart button a lighter blue or different color? I use it to mark which episode im on, especially older content

It's not that they are trying to get people into heaven because they think it's necessarily better. The whole point is that Charlie is trying to even out the population because they assume that that is the reason of the exterminations. In doing so she is going by stereotypical "good behavior" as the key to getting them into heaven but as we learn this episode, sera contributed to the exterminations because she thought their was an uprising happening in hell and none of them really know what gets people sent to heaven. There is clearly someone pulling strings and we don't know who. I hope this clears up some of the confusion that's been consistent in these reactions.

I think the line "if hell is forever then heaven must be a lie" is basically the central thesis of the show. It is actually also central to discussions about hell and heaven within Christianity. I thought it was really cool you came up with the idea of standing trial in front of those you harmed. Which is also part of the whole discussion. Like if Hitler were to go to heaven, in order for heaven to remain perfect, every holocaust victim would have to agree with him being there. It's all really interesting philosophy but also probably a bit too hard to adress in 8 twenty minute episodes. And also the writers probably want to avoid rehashing the Good Place where similar themes get adressed.

I don't want to be a bother, are we getting a new FMAB episode soon? If you guys are taking a breather don't worry about it, just wondering :)
