Last but definitely not least, it's our final poll for February, featuring some of our most popular previously-run scenes that didn't quite manage to win. Don't worry if your favorite doesn't pull through this time around. We'll be running one or two more add-back polls in the coming months before we settle on a "finalized" version of Season 1.
A quick reminder:
- These are all cul-de-sacs, meaning there’s no happy endings… or they’re all happy endings, depending on your perspective. You’ll figure it out. Either way, none of the scenes currently listed will have any impact on the story going forward.
- All scenes will feature in addition to any preexisting game overs. Nothing is being replaced.
This poll will only remain open for five days before it closes on the morning of February 27th, so make sure you get your votes in quickly!
The scenes:
- Option 1 - Episode 5: Minutes after meeting Ashlyn, she lets you know the rules of her little ‘game’ for the evening—specifically, she tells you not to beg. If you do, Ashlyn decides that your insolence deserves a special punishment and forces you to watch as she shrinks and eats your companions, too. [Shrink, OV]
- Option 2 - Episode 5: After surviving your first encounter with Ashlyn, you can unwisely attempt to scurry away from Mira. Unfortunately, you are very small and accident-prone, and your fuzziest companion is a creature blinded by impulse. The two tendencies mesh poorly. [Shrink, OV]
- Option 3 - Episode 6: While searching the dormitory in the Whispered Archives, you get a bit too curious and open a clearly labeled magical tome. A magical book sprite pops out and yanks you into her domain within the pages to do wet, squishy things with your edible body. [Size, OV]
- Option 4 - Episode 10: While exploring the catacombs, your curiosity can wind up landing your companions in hot water—or, more specifically, the stomachs of the trio of myconids. You’re left with a choice: try to assist in their escape yourself, or flee back through the sewers and seek help. Neither ends well. [OV]
- Option 5 - Episode 12: After talking with Prudence, the marquis’ gardener, you can ignore her warnings and trample yet another plant. Enraged, she takes drastic measures to protect her flowerbeds. [UB]
- Option 6 - Episode 12: When you call a witness to the stand, you have an opportunity to choose Sylva, the eccentric (read: insane) detective. Naturally, this immediately tanks your entire case and the magistrate rules guilty. But after a performance so laughably incompetent, even Irene turns up her nose at eating you. Fortunately, Sherine offers to do the deed in her stead. [OV]
- Option 7 - Episode 13: While spending a relaxing day with Mira, she gets a bit overconfident in her thieving skills and is caught by a shopkeeper who knows just the way to have Mira make it up to her. Your attempts to bargain for the demi’s freedom end about as well as expected. [OV]
