October WIP Release: Season 2 Episode 7 (Part 1) (Patreon)

Hey! This WIP is short and unpolished!

Episode 7 is complicated and there are many moving parts: a culmination of multiple plotlines, both narrative and character-based. A lot of the development time for this episode has (and continues to) go into the design and planning for the mechanical choices a player will make throughout the course of the dungeon. The outline has been scrapped and remade twice already, and there might be another iteration before the final release. A few characters don’t even have names yet. Drafts for later scenes in the episode are already written, although reading them in their current state would completely remove their impact and will ruin the experience if revealed early and have not been included this time. And as usual, Ashlyn is causing a problem. 

We think the final result will be worth it, but you’ll have to bear with the WIP(s) being scrappier in exchange. Such as this one:

Thankfully, after Episode 7, the next couple episodes will be far less mechanically involved, and (hopefully) reasonable in length so the development doesn’t drag. It’ll get crunchy again later in the season, but after the last year of challenging developments, we’re very much looking forward to easier episodes.
