August WIP Release: Season 2 Episode 6 (Part 2) & Patreon Billing Info/Update (Patreon)

Now that the clan leaders have all been wrangled, you’re headed back to Walst-on-High for a night of… well, it’s not relaxation. Grab a bite to eat and explore the temple in this WIP. We’ll be wrapping up the last few scenes for Episode 6 in the next two weeks with a full release early in September, hopefully on the 8th.

Other news: You might have read or heard about Apple fees and Patreon billing. Here’s a statement from Patreon about the situation and their future plans:

Currently for AIW, all patrons are billed when they sign up, and the subscription is automatically renewed on the 1st of every month. When the system changes take place, all users will be switched to subscription billing, which means your pledge will be billed on the same day you sign up, every month going forward.

We’ve deferred this change for AIW until at least November 2025, but will be attempting to synchronize our releases around this impending schedule by releasing content on the same day(s) every month so that all patrons receive new content they're paying for with each pledge. If you’ve been with us for a while (thank you, by the way), you’ll remember that the 8th was our day during Season 1 for releases. We’ll be attempting to adapt to this schedule once again in the coming months so the billing changeover is as smooth as possible.

In the meantime, you don’t need to do anything. However, we’d like to personally note that new Patreon pledges made through Apple’s app store will be subject to Apple’s 30% fee. If you are looking to sign up through the iOS app in the future, consider using an alternative method (Patreon in browser, for instance). This goes for all creators on Patreon, not just us.
