Hazelnut Latte Progress Report (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

I've finished what has thankfully been a pretty damn productive day or writing/coding.

The Halloween update is well underway!

All the art for the update has been completed. We have new locations, new animations, and a new sprite.

In terms of writing, I have been burnt out the last few weeks but thankfully today I was able to crank out a few thousand words or two and get us most of the way there!

I am currently writing the big lewd scene of the act, and I am on the 3rd animation of 6. So I am progressing steadily. Hopefully, the next day I can sit down to write is a day where I can bang out the rest of the update and start refining. 

Honestly, this update has not gone my way. I was actually hoping to have it out tomorrow, but burnout hit me pretty hard. I've been trying to take it easy, play some video games, watch some wrestling. So hopefully continued self-care will allow me to finish this update before Halloween hits. 

That said, the game is currently sitting at a total of 46,855 words.

That... is actually insane to me. But here we are!

Some of the writing I did today also touched up some of Act 2. 

A big process of doing this game is that, since I am releasing new content, I am always going back and fixing old content.

Seeing these word counts in a few months after I've readjusted things will be fun.

That is all the news I have for today! I am going to go play some games now for a job well done.
