Hazel Sprite Redesign v4 (Patreon)

Howdy everyone!

I am excited to reveal Hazel's official new sprite redesign!

 When we asked for feedback, a big piece we got was Hazel's outdated sprite. So we went about fixing that! We switched up his look to fit the style/theme of the newer characters. With the different style, Hazel lost some of his exaggerated hair floor, but we made sure to extra fluff it when he put his hat on.

 We tried to keep the essence of the boy we've all come to know and love while also realigning him to the current standard.

A big reason this came about was this scene in v0.11.2 (spoilers for those who haven't gotten there yet)

 Hazel here looks pretty out of place, doesn't he?

Now he looks like he belongs!!!

 We also added 3 new emotions to Hazel's arsenal! They won't be in older content right away, but as the game continues, I'll likely go back and add these new expressions in. You'll see these in future episodes.

In conclusion, I'm personally really excited to have these new sprites in the game. For a while now, I've known this needed to be done. I just didn't know when was the best time, and finally decided to do it once a lot of you agreed.

And for those of you who are sad that Hazel's sprite is changing, I completely understand.

Just know that this isn't the first time... or even the second...

Hazel has had a couple of sprite changes in his career!

HOPEFULLY, this is the last time. I'm really happy with this one, so if we can continue through the rest of the game with him, I'll be a happy camper.

Now, what is next?

We are going to focus on finishing Episode 5, aka v0.11.

Kokman is getting back to working on this new character sprite and then onto the lewd scene.

We also have the new gallery almost done! So, I'm excited to share that soon.

But as a warning, Kokman and I want to update Jeze's sprite and probably Mr Noto's as well.

We want to try to create as much cohesion and consistency as possible. Jeze's sprite, compared to everyone else, now has odd proportions that looked fine next to Hazel since they were done around the same time. But now, with everyone else, it is becoming more apparent.

This isn't an immediate problem to solve. We want to finish v0.11 first and then worry about Jeze later. Just know that we have it on our docket.

I got super sick again last week, hence the little communication.

I already have all of the new Hazel sprites in the game, and it looks fantastic.
