5/22/24 - Writing Update! (Patreon)

Howdy everyone!

I did some writing for Episode 6 today!

Word Count

* [Episode 6] contains 9,083 words. (+2,955)

* [total] 90,118 (+2,970)

Not quite 3k! Probably because I was chatting with you lovely folks on Discord for a bit this morning. Oops!

But we hit 90k words total! This is actually pretty wild. My longest word count is my second novel which is sitting around 117k so... we're approaching.

Work on Episode 6 is going really well! I wrote a big scene today where you can meet the boy that works at the Bubble Tea shop, who becomes a main love interest later.

The next big thing to write is the boy that works at Frappy Star.

After that, it is a lot of lewd scenes and small moments or variable adjustments to conversations.

For reference, this is where we are at with lewd scene art. It is broken up by animations needed and still images.

The 3 already done for Episode 6 is that post I shared a while back for a Jeze scene in Episode 5. I'm moving it to 6 due to plot. 5 is very story heavy and honestly doesn't have room for the scene.

So I apologize for everyone who was excited for that scene. But once you're done with the episode, you'll understand why there wasn't time.

But that is where we are at with Episode 6! The writing is coming along nicely. It may end up as a 12k to 17k episode. It sort of depends on lewd scene length and other factors.

For Episode 5, my programmer, Nobafka, was working on the gallery again and it is really shaping up quite nicely!

I'm super tired from writing all morning but tomorrow I plan on digging into bug testing and starting the 2nd Alpha for v0.11!
