5/11/24 - Hazelnut Latte Episode 5 Writing Done? (Patreon)

Hello everyone! I had a pretty good writing day today! I honestly didn't even feel it? I thought I wasn't writing a lot but turns out I did!

5/11/24

* [Episode 5] contains 2,366 dialogue blocks and 17,036 words. (+1,722)

We broke 80k words!!! Oddly enough, I also wrote 1,722 words on the first? Creepy.
But with that I am pretty sure I have finished writing Episode 5!
Episode 5 has a lot of really weird diversions in story so it may not SEEM like a lot on a first playthrough, but there are so many rabbit holes...
I may still tweak the script, but the story is in place.

So what's next?

Sprites/Music/Testing/Art

I need to add sprites to all the conversation so that we have the Visual part of the Novel.

I need to add sound effects and music so it's enjoyable to play. (except for those people who mute my game. shame)

I need to test everything to make sure all my variables actually work.

And finally, art. There is one lewd scene that needs art. Not to mention other scenes need more art. I have Kokman working on it ;)

I can't give a release estimate YET but hopefully I can get an alpha to $20+ backers by the end of the month.

And that's all for now! I am still recovering from being sick, so I'm gonna go eat dinner and watching wrestling <3
