Down With The Sickness - Personal Update (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

So wow, this past week has sucked. I've been very very sick. I was enjoying my weekend and decided to go to my local comic shop for Free Comic Book Day. I had a great time and grabbed some comics I've wanted. (for anyone wondering the Blade Runner comics and Something Is Killing The Children) But the comic shop was PACKED like more packed than usual. I go there and there are maybe like 3 dudes but that day there was a line outside. So I got my stuff and eventually checked out.

The next day I woke up with a sore throat and feeling like shit. And it's been that way ever since. Too tired and too sick to do anything other than read comics, watch tv, and play comfort games. It's been rough. I don't like relaxing (weird I know) I love working on projects and I love working on this game. So it's been terrible, not to mention it screwed my workout routine, yippie.

But I am now getting over it! I've been coughing way less today which has been a joy.

So, nothing got done for the game this last week. And for that, I apologize. Yesterday I managed to do some sprite work and also make some clickable screens. The image above is a new background Kokman drew of a hallway in Hazel and Robbie's apartment! This will expand some of the exploration of the game.

I am going to take it easy today and hope that by tomorrow I am back up to full fighting power.
