4/18/24 Hazelnut Latte Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone!!!

Had a fun day today of my credit and debit cards being compromised and needing to start the process of getting new ones! Which was... so fun! (thankfully I already got my coffee for the day, but tomorrow is gonna kick my ass.)

So after fighting with the bank, I did some work!

Mainly sprites. Sprites are tedious, especially when you have 2 characters occupying the same space. You need to be keeping track of what they are both doing. And as you can see from the image, there are a lot of ways this conversation can go!

So making sure I remember where everyone was, if certain variables cause the boys to have a different reaction which then leads to me needing to remember all of that.

It's tedious, but it's the bread and butter of the game.

We also started working on 2 cool things today!

We are making it so that if you want, you can be alerted to what choices lead to sexy times and what leads to nothing. The idea is that if you are a Content Creator or someone who doesn't want the sex, you can be told "Hey, this will have lewds" or "This is lewd free"

We are also working on a real Map System!

In Episode 5 (or 6) the world of Jade City is going to open up, so we are starting to figure out how that is going to look.

We are going to be adding in UI elements at some point, but for now we just want to make sure we can pull this off.

But you'll be able to roam around everywhere that is ready, and we will have some notification if an area has new stuff to do.

And that's all I got! I'm gonna do some chores and see how far I can get into New Vegas before the husband gets home.
