4/16/24 Hazelnut Latte Update (Patreon)

Heya!

Today I finished the first lewd scene of Episode 5. All it needs is sound and music and it's good to go!

It isn't fully animated yet, as I am waiting for all the other animations in Eps 1-4 to be complete before I give my new stuff to my animator.

But this scene has the basic framed animation that is there before it is fluid.

I also kinda have a programming helper!

Nobafka who is on our Discord Server has been helping me out with code problems for a bit now so I thought I'd officially say that yes I am getting help. My friend I can phone when I am dying. They have been really awesome to talk to and bounce stuff off of :D

They helped me solve the problem mobile users have been having seeing the player character's dialogue during phone conversations. So now that works!

They also got me set up on GitHub so I can edit my code from any computer! This is a big win for me. I write really well when I am out and about. Since staying at home full time, I have kinda already got cabin fever. I got a huge headache today and had to take a detox walk outside.

So hopefully with being able to code wherever, I can write wherever! Early HL was written in coffee shops before I decided I needed to see the code since there were so many variables. But now I can do that again!

Decent progress was made today and we are another step closer to the first Alpha of v0.11!

Tomorrow I am going to hyper focus on getting a good chunk of the sprites done for the first part of the episode. But a lot of it is Hazel and Robbie, which means juggling their positioning in the scene at all times. (yay)

But I'm going to relax with some Fallout 76 and let the old timey music soothe my troubles away.
