WIP: Blowtorch, a mod that cleanses your worlds (Patreon)

I have been working on a big mod to solve some of the annoyances for historical simmers. Namely, the ugly modern deco stuff that comes with the hoods/worlds. Now when we have the awesome T.O.O.L mod, which makes it possible to decorate your hood (outside of your lots) the modern streetlights and trashcans and GINORMOUS landmarks are even more annoying.

Yes, CAW (Create-a-World) mod for Sims 4 is being worked on by @twistedmexi (who also created T.O.O.L - but it still has some time before it is done and accessible for everyone. (Now in alpha-testing.) And even with CAW, the old worlds will be there. And you want to make use of them, without ugly modern stuff disturbing.

So I have been working on a solution. First I started to make a lot f hiders, hiding the objects one by one. This is very time consuming, and also not so practical. Say, you want to hide the palmtrees in Oasis Springs. A hider hides them, yes - but a hider also hides the objects from catalogue in game. And you may want to use those palmtrees somewhere else. Hidden functioning objects - for example chairs - also still exists, but are invisible, and sims go sit on them. Annoying.

So I have now worked on a solution where you edit the preloaded deco in the game files (those in Windows directory). It is a much more time efficient method. And it won't affect your saves or CC. Any moment you can revert back to original files, with a couple of clicks.

If you have been using light mods like the ones from @softerhaze, it's the same princip - but I change other things than the light mod does,

(I did however include Softerhaze Sunblind lightmod in this WIP, with their permission.) Anyway, the mod is almost done - I am just waiting for the new EP to be able to add the world that comes with it.
