i've never played the games but i thought this was a decent action movie. i think you hit the nail on the head about the script being overly complicated, and how they might not have believed in the main story enough.. but i will say.. when Nate figured out the coordinates to the treasure, and looked back at Chloe, it wasn't so much a betrayal as it was a test. i interpreted that scene as: if Chloe stuck around until Nate woke up, he *would* have brought her with him. BUT he wrote down fake coordinates in the event that she betrayed him again (which she did), and so she was off the board.
