I feel the same way as you do ! Btw on Instagram so many Boys planet contestants are showing pics of them hanging out together and being friends, they are so cute lol! I don't remember it being like that with other mnet shows so I was happy to see this 😊. And about the lineup, I'm extremely disappointed tbh! The planet shows were a bit disappointing when it comes to lineup, even worse than produce (I didn't think it was possible lol) If Keita, Jay, Hui or Jongwoo made it, I would've been much happier. I'm happy for Taerae tho, he's great

Idk if you're looking for another show to watch after, but there's another show called 'Peak Time' that's actually very good and wholesome in my opinion. The concept is groups that aren't that popular (DKB & Ghost9 appear for example) or on hiatus or disbanded come together and compete to basically promote themselves and it's much more genuine feeling than Boys Planet tbh lol. Most of the run Time of the episodes are actually performances /interactions and they move quickly for the most part and the episodes are shorter. The performances are also all very good, and the original songs/arrangements all slay imo. It's also a much more satisfying competition because even though there's a winner at the end, the top 6 get the benefit of going on tour together anyway and the show gives something to each group that's eliminated too.

It's 11 episodes, I think only 2 of them are elimination episodes.

i completely understand how you feel, my one pick park hanbin also didn’t debut there’s a few people i’m sad didn’t make it but at the same time i’m very satisfied with this lineup, all of them deserve it and i loved all 18 of them anyway so in any case it went i would’ve been happy i already miss everyone, and i’m hoping they’ll post some content before kcon because i can’t wait, all i know is that with the members we’re gonna have such a great time with the variety content, i can already feel the chaotic energy 💀

Exactly. I actually really adore all 18 boys on the show. The final lineup is really great and are going to be huge. They already almost have 1 million followers on Instagram and over 550k on twitter. Also…ZB1 has amazing vocalist in it. Taerae has such a unique voice that is extremely strong, zhanghao is an amazing vocalist, Hanbin, and not to mention Gunwook as well. I am so proud of all of them. I am sad for Jay and Keita…but honestly after panick voting I had a feeling they would not make it. I have watched far to many MNET survival shows so I just knew the Korean fans were going to panicking vote the second they saw who was out of the top 9.♥️

Jay got ruined by slander. Same way Zhanghao is being slandered now because people aren't happy with the first ever Chinese center. It sucks. My 1-pick Keita didn't make it but honestly I got so attached to all 18 boys (+the other eliminated ones) so I can't wait for whatever content/music is coming from them.

also i wanted to add that if mnet made it a 12 member group it would’ve been a lineup that 99% of people would’ve liked (jay was 10th, park hanbin 11th and keita 12th)

Honestly, that Jay and Keita didn't make it into the group is absolutely no surprise for me because they had by far the lowest k-votes out of the 18 final trainees (everybody who watched gp999 knows the impact of k-votes)... Mnet didn't even had to rig the votes (of course they aren't able to rig them anymore)

And I think it is interesting how different people can have different experiences and opinions on a show depending on who you are supporting! Because Boys Planet is my favorite survival show EVER and I watched tons of survival shows before... the line up is just perfect for me! I already ult them without knowing the music because I love this group so much and to be honest I think they will be really successful because I have never seen so much positivity about a group after a Mnet survival show... like of course some Jay and Keita fans are throwing around hate comments but that is nothing compared to gp999!!!
