i think you don’t know junhyeon a lot because you said that you think his popularity got him here but is extremely talented! he’s lead vocalist and main dancer material and if you want to hear his voice more he has an ost called “hello, stranger” also i CANNOT believe we’re two days away from the final omg wtf ahaha

I don’t know him a lot because I’m just going from the show which most people are also and he never stood out to me or amazed me in any of the performances, I shouldn’t have to watch extra content in order to be impressed 🤷🏽‍♀️ I think he’s got this far based on his personality more

it’s because mnet doesn’t have the ability of showing thoroughly more than like 15 trainees throughout the show, and i’m not blaming you for not knowing him well i was just saying if you ever get curious even after the show the ost exists

Tbh, it isn’t sure!! We’ve had people like Xiaoting from Kep1er and even Yurina in GP999 who have been ranking high since the start of the show, but fell so much in rank because of the one pick system~ Ofc Sung Hanbin being korean is an advantage already in this show, but we gotta remember that he isn’t everyone’s one-pick hehe~

i mean we don't know that for sure considering he was used as filler for a lot of the fandoms of lower ranking trainees ++ even if he consistently ranks at 1st, he still works hard for it and earned the spot he got... if anything it's mnet's fault for creating the position deciding process the way they did :/

yeah i get that it might not be conveyed well through what he's been able to show on the show (it's not all neccesarily mnet's fault either, he just got stuck in a subvocal position ++ then a rap/dance team ++ then another subvocal position so he's had very few singing lines)

BUT i will say, whilst he's gotten a lot of initial attention from his personality, most of the ppl that go out of their way to vote for him end up deciding to do so bc they search up the extra content outside of the show, that's why despite being so loved by the international viewers, he's not actually ranked that well,,, his fandom has grown but it's still mainly casual enjoyers bc they only know him based off of his comedic antics :/

I never said hanbin didn't work hard man, he is a great singer and definitely can dance! But he needs to realize that he has already had a lot of opportunities others on the show didn't get :/ I don't think Mnet is always the one at fault like. They never edited him in a wrong way lol
