"It was a jolly holiday gone wrong. Mary Poppins, practically perfect in every way, yet she had not expected the blueberry pie to be so filling. She had made a world within a drawing on the chalked up sidewalks of London, and as she had settled down, the blueberry pie had taken effect. 

It was fortunate that her transformation had taken place within the painting. Mary Poppins didn't want to be seen in such a state. Maybe not because of her clothes becoming too tight to cover her, but certainly because her whole identity as a magical woman would be out in the open..."


This was one of my best drawings for BlimpTober. I enjoyed working on this one! It's also the first proper Mary Poppins piece I've done. I have wanted to try a piece with her for a long time.
