Hey, patrons - as most of you might have heard by now, Patreon will be changing the way it's charging patrons soon, adding the processing fees on top of pledges rather than having them come out of creator's earnings at the end of the month:

While it does mean we get more money out of it, I know it's not ideal for low tier pledges, particularly those in EU countries who already pay extra. Like many artists, I don't support Patreon's decision to make this change, but until we find a viable alternative (which I'm currently looking into, notably things like gumroad, ko-fi and Liberapay and the upcoming Drip), we'll be sticking around as Patreon's a significant part of my earnings these days. It's been a great help since I've started freelancing  even if it doesn't pay all the bills! (yet) Of course, we'd like you to stick around too, but we fully understand if you can't.

I do have a ko-fi page which is a great way to support me as well, without fees or extra charges. I haven't figured out a good way to do rewards for it yet, but I'm thinking of offering something like an annual exclusive Discord channel access for like 12 coffees (which is where i post all the extra art and is a Discord mirror of all $3 posts, essentially). I just need some kind of management system to take care of it all. Any suggestions are welcome :)

As much as I disagree with the new fee structure, I won't be changing any of my outgoing pledges. We're all taking a hit this month, and I don't want to compound that. So you can count on me to stay!
