Because we write stuff that amuses us first and foremost and then worry about hammering it all into a modestly coherent story, the process of prepping each chapter invariably comes down to a hell of a lot of chopping and rejiggering. 

Unfortunately, that also means sacrificing some pretty decent material at the Altar of the Almighty Pagecount. Here's one such victim, originally intended to slot in directly after page 9 in Chapter 3. Even off-camera, ripping off Lin isn't terribly advisable.
