I know when it's all said and done, everything will unfold. I just think from the perspective of someone who's seen the show, naturally there's just kind of an urge you have for all of their questions, predictions, and theories to be proven right/wrong cause you're excited to see their reaction. Idk if they explain this later, so im curious on this rewatch, but I just assumed no one told Naruto about his father because ninja would target him / try to take him out solely because he's the son of the yellow flash that was such a big part in the war. Which is probably why Naruto took his mothers last name. Uzamaki, the clan Jiraiya and tsunade talked about in the last couple of episodes. That you'll learn more about.

Once again, I truly think you guys should watch this. It's only 24 minutes and you could watch it as a bonus, 3 episode special. It's filler but I'd heavily argue it's relevant to the storys canon, as I've said before, there's an anime canon flashback sequence that will not make sense if you don't watch this 24 minute segment. I'd argue that a better way to define a Kekkei Genkai is any jutsu that are passed down genetically and cannot be learned otherwise. It's literally in the name - kekkei genkai translates to bloodline limit. Techniques that are limited to your bloodline. He is saying that it's misleading because there are several jutsu that are not "basic" but not Kekkei Genkai either. Examples are the Nara clan, Aburame clan, Akimichi clan, etc jutsu. They're unique and taught to members within the clan, but they're not passed down genetically. In theory you could learn them

it is the right term for the rinnegan (in fact, it is a kekkei mora when the user is an otsuxxxxx, all dojutsu are kekkei mora degraded into kekkei genkai by being passed to non-otsuxxxxx, the same can be said for kimimaro bones, but i don't say more to not spoil) i think the confusion came because of the anime, the anime state that kekkei genkai is a bloodline specific jutsu made by the fusion of 2 nature of chakra (3 nature of chakra is kekkei tota) in the manga it's only stated that is a bloodline jutsu that came from abnormal DNA (and nothing is said about chakra nature), it can be passed down genetically or not (hashirama wood style is also kekkei genkai, it is a genetically trait but never passed down by normal means) Nara clan is not a kekkei genkai as stated before, but a hiden jutsu (the clan doesn't want to spread the jutsu outside of the clan, but it can be learned or copied by someone like kakashi) so all jutsu that are not copyable by kakashi are at least a kekkei genkai :D

Michelle, I understand you wanting Ron to say things properly (I speak fluent Korean as a Korean American, and am passionate about pronouncing things correctly if spoken in other languages.) However, I think you are a bit too harsh in correcting Ron and almost forcing him to say things correctly. I understand you wanting him to say things the way they should be said, (I do too if people are saying things in a way that I know is incorrect, whether it be English, Korean, Japanese, or Spanish) because I speak bits and pieces of those as well. However, demanding Ron to say things in a certain way that is not easy to do - every single time- I just dont think that's fair to him. Some people are just not as apt in pronouncing things correctly, and that's ok. I've learned to accept that and hope that some day, you can too. It also sometimes causes him to lose his original train of thought, which as a viewer, I was very curious about. I wish to be able to hear the FULLNESS of Ron's inner thoughts and feelings, without him being interrupted or inhibited because of one mispronounced word. Hope that makes sense. I hope you heard me well, and know that I have no ill intentions toward you. I only want the best for you guys in both your personal relationships and your professional career. Where? In the manga and anime version of part 1. When? Chunnin exams when we see Hiruzen talk about 4th and then it goes straight to Naruto. Again when Itachi talks about 4th. Then again with Tsunade. It’s easier to notice in the manga since Kishimoto makes sketches in between chapters but in anime it’s clear as day
