Boring in the sense that there is no real overall progression in the plot of the show right now, but, as they said just three words later, the show stays consistent and good even in these 'boring' parts ;)

It's because we as viewers have been conditioned to think through the lense of frieren the mc who, undoubtedly thinks things at a nice and steady pace and is never in a rush but is still efficient when it's time to act.

I love the slow pace of Frieren among the many fast paced action shounen animes. I would love if you guys start on a romance, shoujo, seinen, slice of life type anime even though it may bore Ron since we only see Ron enjoying the action pact anime scenes more in the anime you guys have watched besides Frieren.

Luckily there are plenty of slice of life anime with action in it. Like Banished From The Heroes Party
